Academic Advising

Academic advising is an important component for a successful educational experience and is available to all KCTCS students. Whether you are seeking credentials exclusively from KCTCS or plan to transfer to another institution, academic advising is critical. Advisors strive to assist you with obtaining accurate information about academic requirements, long- and short-term educational planning, and resources available to assist transfer and/or professional goals. Students should contact an advisor at their college as soon as possible to receive help reaching your goals. Although academic advisors provide assistance, students are responsible for knowing institutional policies, procedures, requirements, and seeking out assistance when needed.
