Fixed Wing Flight Training
Graduates of the Fixed Wing Flight Training degree program will have completed all ground and flight training required to be eligible for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument Instructor certifications. FAA Certificated Commercial Pilots and Certified Flight Instructors may find employment in a variety of Fixed Wing applications to include corporate air transport, on-demand air charter services, cargo transport, agricultural spraying, aerial surveying, flight instruction and commercial airline transport. There are also various non-flying roles in the aviation industry to include Airport Management, Aviation Logistics Management, Operations Management, Flight Safety Inspector, Ground/Simulator Instructor and Aviation Business Management. Students must be able to hold a FAA class 2 medical certificate throughout the program.
