Introduction to Commercial Breeding Practices
Introduces students to the modern equine breeding industry. Examines reproductive anatomy and physiology, breeding methods, stallion and mare management, foaling procedures, neonatal care, and weaning methods. Lecture: 3.0 credits (45 contact hours)
