Provides a comprehensive overview of the healthcare physical environment to include infection prevention, interim life safety, pre-construction risk assessment, blood borne pathogens, healthcare specific OSHA awareness, special permitting, emergency preparedness, ventilation requirements, & utility system shutdown protocols. Provides insight for those considering enrollment into academic credentials specific to healthcare facilities support roles such as engineering, security, emergency management, environmental services, dietary, safety, biomedical engineering, or construction management.
