Mathematical Literacy
Develops the mathematical thinking skills and understanding needed for non-math and non-science majors, in a one-semester course integrating numeracy, proportional reasoning, algebraic reasoning, and functions. Provides parallel and supplemental review of algebra skills needed for success in college algebra for students with a Math ACT of 19-21. Serves as an entry-level introduction to applied statistics useful for a variety of fields.
